The Mi Box S is a decent 4K streaming box for its price as it can stream 4k content without lag thanks to its powerful cpu. you can also sideload apk’s (restricted to 32bit apps). The TV box also contains Google TV based on android 11, which doesn’t lag outside of setup where it will lag for around 15 minutes because of system updates. but after that, it doesn’t lag. also, the TV box improves image quality (at least on the TV I used) because it always keeps hdr on.
